Manthy knew that feeling. Seven years in corporate accounting, two degrees, a CPA license and a nervous system that was unraveling beneath it all. Yoga brought her back. The kind that teaches you how to regulate, reconnect, and remember who you are underneath all the doing.

When she looked for a community that held all of it, she couldn't find it. So she built it for herself but also for everyone still in that place she once was. The Golden Roots Collective is yoga for burnout recovery, a safe space to be yourself, a community of people who get it, and so much more.

The anxiety crept in. The burnout settled. Your body started sending signals you didn't have time to listen to. You kept going anyway, because you were supposed to

The Golden Roots Collective was built out of a need Manthy knew wasn't hers alone.

Your nervous system was designed to protect you: fight, flight, or freeze. It's a survival response built for real emergencies. But the problem has become that it can't tell the difference between a lion and someone cutting you off on the highway.

You spill your coffee and your whole morning feels ruined or a notification pops up and your shoulders are at your ears before you've even read it. That's a dysregulated nervous system doing exactly what it was built to do in a world full of overstimulation.

Yoga is one of the most effective tools we have for getting out of that loop. It physiologically teaches your nervous system that you are safe. That you can slow down. That you can come back to your body and actually stay there.

Modern life and chronic stress have become synonymous.

A safe space to get out of your head and back into your body.

We live in a culture that rewards speed and equates busyness with worth and rest with laziness. We push harder, move faster, optimize everything we can and then we wonder why we still feel stuck, depleted, and disconnected from ourselves.

The reality: your body keeps score. The tension you carry, the sleep you lose, the constant hum of anxiety beneath everything is a nervous system that has been in survival mode for so long it forgot what safety feels like.

At the Golden Roots Collective, we believe in presence over productivity, ease over effort, abundance over scarcity.

Slowing down might be what actually moves you forward.

Peace. Presence. Ease. Abundance. > Achievement. Speed. Output. Grind

Manthy grew up active, detail-oriented, and deeply curious...with a brain that moved differently than most. As she fought against her nature to follow the conventional path, she ended up with two accounting degrees, a CPA license, and seven years in corporate accounting. She followed the path, checked the boxes, and kept pushing forward on a path that didn't quite fit.

Burnout was inevitable. Her mental health took the hit, and her nervous system paid the price. Yoga was the cure. Through her practice she learned to regulate her nervous system, reconnect with her body, and handle things that used to send her into a spiral. She found her way back to herself and realized she wasn't the only one who had lost the path getting there.

She built the space she wished had existed. A place rooted in movement, regulation, and real community for anyone who has ever felt like they're swimming upstream.

Manthy Parish is the founder of Golden Roots Collective. She is a Certified Public Accountant, yoga teacher, and run coach. She believes everyone deserves to feel sovereign in their body. The Golden Roots Collective is how she's making that possible.

She had the degrees, the credentials, the career, and a nervous system that was completely unraveling.
